How To Make An Oreo Milkshake Delight!

Like most days, today was no different-I suddenly was in the mood for a cool, creamy chocolaty treat, hence the birth of this frosty milkshake. Probably can blame Pinterest… Hello there Oreo-cookie-addict. Allow me to ignite your craving right now. Oreos are classic cookies that make the yummiest milkshake. Paired with vanilla ice cream, I’d like to share with you this easy-peazy recipe that you too can enjoy at home.

Here is what you’ll need

  • 4 teaspoons of chocolate syrup
  • 8 Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 cups of vanilla ice-cream softened

Prep your milkshake glasses by putting them in a freezer for about 15 minutes, so your milkshake doesn’t melt easily. Pour in some chocolate syrup which will be the coating for the bottom

Into the blender goes the milk, ice-cream with half of your chopped up Oreo cookies (save the other half of finely chopped cookies for toppings)

Blend the ingredients until the Oreos are ground up and thoroughly mixed with the milk and ice cream. The milkshake will be smoother and the cookies less visible the more you blend. Not too long though, if you want to keep some Oreo chunks above the coating.

Whichever way you decide to put Oreo cookies and ice-cream together, you know it’s going to be amaze-balls. Try mixing up the milk and ice-cream flavours to come up with a milkshake that’s just for you, made by you 😉

I’d love to hear what you come up with, so please do share? I plan on trying out vanilla yoghurt as a substitute. I’m sure there are additional ways to making this recipe even better. Comment below and let me know…

Stay awesome,
